In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an unique katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
